Journal of Institutional Studies

Online ISSN 2412-6039
            ISSN 2076-6297

After 1990s when neoclassical approach to the process of economic reformation revealed rather limited effectiveness in almost all post-soviet countries, economists began to seek for a new paradigm in economic theory which would be more relevant to post-soviet case and, furthermore, would enable them to speak the same language with foreign colleagues. Eventually, Institutionalism (both original and new) has become such a paradigm.

Journal of Institutional studies covers a wide range in the field of social sciences (economics, sociology, political science, law and history). A great number of research papers, educational and methodological materials are published in the Journal. Moreover, there is an opportunity to discuss urgent issues in the context of institutionalism.

The Journal is supported by the International Association of Institutional Studies aimed to publish articles on institutional problems and promote research in the field of original and new institutional economics as well as unconstrained discussions devoted to the key problems of the institutional theory.
